About the role
Our client is seeking a Vendor Analyst to support their delivery partners. Reporting to the Vendor Assurance Manager, this unique opportunity will see the successful individual collaborating on a large portfolio working alongside an experienced, small-knit immediate team. Leveraging stakeholder engagement and process governance expertise, this role is primarily responsible for contract administration, RFQ management, vendor liaison, administrative support, invoicing and transaction processing, document management and purchase order reconciliation.
Key Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated experience in contract administration, invoicing and payments reconciliation, as well as vendor financial and purchase order management.
• Exemplary attention to detail – process governance, including management of approvals, documentation and records, is integral to this position.
• Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills and proactive approach.
• Strong time management skills, with demonstrated agility in adapting to shifting priorities.
• Highly developed written, verbal and presentation skills, with a consultative and collaborative communication style.
• Digitally fluent, with proficiency in the M365 suite. Key systems include Oracle Peoplesoft Finance, Kofax, ServiceNow and Content Manager.
• Understanding of Commercial Management, Quality Assurance, Vendor Management, IT contracting models and the implications they have on financial management, vendor management, contracts and program management.
• Support the Snr Vendor Analysts and Vendor Assurance Manager, where required, in the management of new and existing IT vendor agreements.
Key Qualifications
• Completion of a degree in the field of law, business, computer science or management without subsequent work experience: or
• An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Industry certification in contract and/or vendor management (desirable).
Desirable Skills, Experience or Qualifications
• Previous Higher Education experience.
• Understanding of standard procurement procedures and tender approaches.
