With business growth, they are wanting to engage a proven Finance Admin Officer to join their friendly accounting team. This permanent role can be offered from a 0.7 FTE up to full-time.
About your role
The Finance Admin Officer role plays a vital support role, ensuring efficient day-to-day financial processing and seamless administrative operations. Working closely with the Financial Controller and Payroll/HR administrator, this role encompasses a balanced mix of accounts processing and general office management responsibilities.
The successful candidate will bring strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities across finance and administration within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
This position is ideally suited for candidates with experience in small to medium enterprises where finance and administrative duties are combined to support operational effectiveness.
About your roleFinance and Accounts Processing
Process purchase orders and supplier invoices into MYOB including data entry, coding, and invoice verification against purchase orders or approvals.
Liaise with the Financial Controller to schedule payments to suppliers and contractors in accordance with internal procedures.
Manage and record incoming payments and receipts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation to accounting records.
Processing and reconciling of credit card and virtual debit card expenditure.
Assisting with month-end reporting and general ledger support.
Support the Financial Controller and Payroll/HR administrator with other filing, reconciliations, and administrative and finance tasks as required.
Administrative Support and Office Management
Assistance with co-ordination of travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, and transport bookings for staff and visitors, as required. Assist with training staff on how to book and co-ordinate their own travel using the Company’s corporate travel platform provider.
Manage procurement and inventory of office stationery, kitchen supplies, and other consumables.
Assist with organizing internal meetings, staff events, and external visitors.
Provide general administrative support across departments including filing, scanning, document formatting, and data entry.
Liaise with service providers and maintenance contractors for office equipment and facility support.
The successful candidate is an experienced and reliable Accounts professional who enjoys working in a varied and fast-paced environment. Working in a friendly team environment, you are proactive, organized, have a good attention to detail, strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and a great sense of humor.
