We’re currently seeking a motivated and well-presented individual to join a respected host employer as an Apprentice Cabinet Maker. This is an exceptional opportunity to learn the trade in a supportive environment where precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are paramount.
What You’ll Learn:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Operating woodworking machinery
- Cutting, assembling, and installing cabinetry components
- Working with a range of materials including timber, laminates, and veneers
- Finishing techniques and quality control
- Site installation on high-end residential projects
- Workplace health and safety practices
- Working to strict measurements and high standards of finish
- A strong interest in building a career in residential cabinetmaking
- Excellent attention to detail and a genuine pride in your work
- Professional and well-presented with good communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
- CAD design skills or completion of relevant studies (e.g., design & tech) are a plus
- Any prior hands-on experience in cabinetry, joinery, or similar trades is highly valued
- A solid part-time work history during school years is also well regarded, as it shows commitment and a strong work ethic
- Licence and own car (provisional licence as a minimum)
- Full working and study rights with no restrictions
