Fixed Task Contract
Due to strong growth and a robust pipeline of opportunities, M2P Engineering are seeking experienced Underground SMP Supervisors to join our project in South Australia and beyond. You will play a vital part in coordinating site activities, managing teams, and ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements as well as draw on your leadership experience and engineering knowledge to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
At M2P, we do engineering differently — with smarter thinking, real care, and a team spirit that gets the job done right. As an Underground SMP Supervisor, you’ll lead critical projects across diverse sites, driving safety, quality, and timely delivery in challenging environments.
You’ll make an impact by:
• Leading and supervising multi-discipline site teams to deliver project milestones
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality systems, policies, procedures, and relevant Australian standards
• Coordinating resources and schedules for optimal project flow
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships
• Managing conflicting priorities and solving complex problems in high-pressure environments
What you’ll bring
• Trade qualification and relevant supervisory experience
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and high autonomy
• Good knowledge of quality systems, policies, and procedures aligned with Australian standards
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to liaise with internal and external contacts at all levels
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Ideally, you will also have:
• Excellent computer literacy including Excel and quality reporting
• Motivation to support internal clients and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, autonomous approach
• Knowledge of engineering and construction practices
• Experience working in remote or underground environments
• Ability to mentor and develop site teams
