Now five years into its journey and part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio, the property reflects the vibrant character of its neighbourhood through thoughtful design, authentic service, and strong community connection.
Featuring 145 stylish guest rooms and two established F&B outlets, the hotel serves a diverse mix of guests and maintains a strong presence in the local Adelaide market.
We're seeking a dynamic, commercially minded General Manager to lead Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets into its next chapter. This hands-on role focuses on operational excellence, commercial growth, and building a strong presence within the local community. You will play a key role in elevating the guest experience, driving performance, developing future leaders, and fostering trusted relationships with owners and stakeholders.
**A Little Taste of Your Day-to-Day**
- Oversee daily hotel operations with a focus on exceptional service and operational excellence.
- Maintain strong visibility across the property, engaging guests and inspiring your team to deliver memorable experiences.
- Lead, coach, and support department heads to build an engaged, high-performing culture.
- Drive commercial performance through strategic, insights-based decision making.
- Champion continuous improvement to elevate the guest experience and streamline operations.
- Build trusted relationships with owners, asset managers, and community stakeholders.
- Represent the hotel confidently within the Adelaide market, strengthening local presence and reputation.
**What We Need From You**
- Proven operational leadership with depth in Rooms and strong capability overseeing F&B operations.
- A collaborative, people-focused leadership style with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with owners and community partners.
- A hands-on leadership approach - comfortable balancing strategic oversight with operational involvement when required.
- Ability to build strong connections in the local community and represent the hotel with consistency and credibility.
- Eligibility to work in Australia (visa sponsorship not available).
