Location: Adelaide, SA
Contract: 6 months initially, with strong potential for extension
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Lead to join our team supporting major infrastructure projects. This pivotal role will champion best-practice risk management across all phases of large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with ISO 31000 and KBR's governance standards.
You will lead strategic risk initiatives, facilitate high-impact workshops, and provide authoritative assurance on risk controls and documentation. This is an opportunity to influence decision-making at an executive level and embed a culture of proactive risk intelligence across the project ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Drive advanced risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies at portfolio, program, and project levels.
+ Lead Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) and integrate outputs into forecasting and scenario planning.
+ Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to embed risk management into strategic decision-making.
+ Mentor and uplift risk capability across delivery partners and internal teams.
+ Represent KBR in high-level stakeholder engagements to ensure transparent communication and effective management of complex risks.
Skills & Experience Required:
+ Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, risk management, or related field.
+ Minimum 8 years' experience in risk and/or opportunity management within large-scale infrastructure programs.
+ Strong analytical skills, including risk quantification and use of risk modelling tools.
+ Excellent communication and facilitation skills for executive audiences.
+ Experience in water or wastewater infrastructure programs (desirable).
